South Korean mobile maker, Samsung has unveiled two Omnia series smartphones which are equipped with high-end features and technology. Of the two smartphones, Samsung Omnia II i8000 boast of a 3.7-inch AMOLED WQVGA display with 480 x 800 pixels. The new smartphone is equipped with a new version of TouchWiz 2.0 widget-based interface. Samsung Omnia II looks similar to Samsung Jet mobile phone.
Just like Jet, Omnia II has a 5 megapixel camera with face detection, geo-tagging and other features. The new Omnia series mobile phone features a faster 800MHz processor and will be available in three different versions based on internal memory - 2GB, 8GB and 16GB. Other features of Omnia II are Wi-Fi, video recording and playback facility and interactive 3D games.
On the other hand, Samsung Omnia LITE (B7300) is a lighted-weighted handset equipped with features like HSDPA, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, Opera Browser, high-quality video and a 3MP camera. Just like above mentioned version, Omnia LITE is also incorporated with the new TouchWiz 2.0 interface. It is also equipped with downloadable widgets support. This mobile phone form Samsung comes loaded with business features like Microsoft Office Suite and push email support. Samsung Omnia LITE also will come pre-loaded with Opera Browser.

Samsung Jet Touchscreen Mobile Phone features
Samsung has unveiled a brand new mobile phone called Samsung Jet that comes blended with the advanced features of a smartphone and easy-to-use user interface of a conventional handset. The new touchscreen phone is expected to be smarter than the smatphones. Samsung Jet features an 800MhZ application processor running on Samsung’s TouchWiz UI version 2.0.
The new smartphone from Samsung’s stable boast of a 16M WVGA AMOLED display that offers most vivid and colorful full touch mobile experience. Samsung Jet comes with a 5 megapixel AF camera having dual LEDs for flash. Jet’s camera is equipped with a slew of features like face detection, smile shot, blink detection and geotagging.
The 800MhZ application processor incorporated in the new Samsung handset delivers high speed and stunning performance. The touchscreen device is equipped with Samsung’s DNSe sound engine and SRS WOW sound effects. Other features of Samsung Jet mobile phone are DivX and XviD video playback, GPS with A-GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi and Micro USB.
Moreover, Samsung Jet features one finger zoom and is capable of supporting Microsoft Exchange Active Sync. The new phone will be available in an 8GB model with support for microSD cards up to 16GB. Samsung Jet will carry a price tag of Rs. 24,150.
